Tasmanian Polar Network

Tasmanian Polar Network

Tasmania has a large established Antarctic network. Antarctic Tasmania supports the network of Antarctic related businesses as Secretariat for both the Tasmanian Polar Network (TPN) and the Tasmanian Antarctic Gateway (TAG) Advisory Committee.

The TAG Committee members are representatives from, research, government, education, and industry agencies.

The TPN is the peak body for Tasmania’s Antarctic sector, representing scientific research organisations, government agencies and the many Tasmanian businesses that operate in the sector.

It is the only network of its kind in the world and has successfully harnessed the Tasmanian way of doing business – networking with friends and colleagues to promote Tasmania’s Antarctic capabilities and solve problems.

If you are interested in joining the TPN or learning more about its members visit the TPN website.

The TPN also has a business directory.
